Onyx Ettinchi Nello | born 7/29/2015 | 5 | Onyx never had the pleasure of meeting his father but he heard stories from his mother of what a great Ettinchi he was. Onyx looked a lot like his mother, but he had a bit of his father's flare and curiosity too. His fur was that shiny black, his eyes were bright green, and faint purple stripes ran up and down his back. Onyx loved his mother but to his dismay, shortly after having met her, she passed from old age. Onyx could be found wandering around the nest that his parents had once lived in. His mother and father spent hours building the nest before his and his sister's birth. One afternoon, while wandering around on the nearby beach, Onyx met a small female ettinchi named Aquamarine, who's name fit her perfectly. She was friendly and even somewhat silly, but most of all, he liked how adventurous she was. The two would often play games in the nest together, stargaze, and collect gems, shells, and gadgets in their spare time. The two were to become the best of friends.
As time went by, the two's friendship grew and grew until one day Aquamarine finally confessed her love to him. A few months after, they were married and had two eggs. The nest was then artfully decorated with shells and various gems they had collected in their younger years. After time passed by, Onyx grew old and wise. He could often be found sitting in his favorite chair. It was carefully woven from branches and leaves, which Aquamarine had collected. There, he could be seen fiddling with gadgets and tinkering with new ideas. But even as an old ettin, his mother was never far from his mind. He could still remember when he was young and his mother would play with him on the beach. He often thought of the day he would finally meet her again. As time always goes, one day, while resting in his favorite chair, he passed away peacefully with a smile on his face. Onyx will be missed by his wife and loved ones greatly. Rest in peace dear friend. Onyx ... |

It appears that my friend might want one of these too. I think I'll let them have a go at whichever of the two that they want, if we can get them.

I know, I'm just hopeful.
Either way, I'm sure he's gorgeous.

It's first come first serve, but you might get lucky!

If I get the chance, I would really like to adopt Hugo's son to see what he turned out like and also because I absolutely loved both the parents coloring. But we will see in the end anyway, regardless of when he hatches.
