During the time before the little Ettin hatched, Nello (his owner) found a difficult time choosing a name and shifted between a few before settling on the name Hugo. When Hugo first hatched, he seemed a bit quiet. But despite the quiet appearance, he was a sly little ettin with deep red eyes. He would often be found rummaging through things in search of gadgets or toys. Although, as time went by, Hugo proved himself to be even more of a clever scamp, running all about searching for new adventures and making friends along the way as well as finding many treasures like seashells and marbles out by the sea. Hugo also looked up to his older sister Owain as a child and could be seen spending time around the beach where she would often chase crabs.

As he aged he found himself more and more attracted to a sweet little ettinchi named Luna. Her eyes were like quicksilver, and her skin shined like onyx with shimmering violet stripes. She was truly a beauty, both in personality and appearance. The two started as friends but as they aged they learned they could not deny the feeling that was burning in their hearts. One day Hugo finally told Luna his feelings and before everyone knew it, the two were married. Soon after that Luna laid two little eggs in the nest just waiting for the moment they would be able to hatch.

As Hugo aged he found the friends he made would sometimes come and go. But this never swayed his happy disposition. Hugo was sad to see his older sister pass before him but he never gave up. In time, Hugo grew old with his lovely wife Luna and eventually passed peacefully on his own in his father's study. He will be very missed by his friends and loved ones.
