 Some of you may know I moved out to the USA this summer to work at Stardock. Well, amazingly enough, the first thing I was assigned to work on was . . . a Desktop Pet - and it's finally arrived, just in time for Christmas!Note that this is is a $10 virtual pet, not a $40 game. It knows enough to get itself around, but it's not about to win any awards for innovations in Alife. Instead, it's a cute thing running around on your desktop, perfect for younger members of your family to play with! Still, maybe one day we can hope for an animated 3D game like it in the Creatures series.  |
