Recovered from Lake Uncanny is an example of the male counterpart to the female Balloon Molly Ettin that was posted some time ago. While the tail and the webbing between the "fingers" remain the same, note that the rest of the finnage is more angular than the females. If the original creators had a reasoning behind this somewhat obscure difference between the adults of this breed it most certainly has been lost in the passage of time. (Very much like why they decided to create and perpetuate the breed in the first place, in spite of the troubled health caused by such obvious deformities.) |
