 | KittyTikara says: "Partly inspired by Mea's swamp idea, and partly pulled out of thin air, this is the rough outline of my swampy metaroom I'm slowly working on. It will have the mushrooms and spikey seed-pod things from the Norn Terrarium, but I'm thinking that the cat-tails would make for a nice agent to go with it. Plus the vines might drop off and become food as well, or they may sway in the breeze. Can't say when it will be released."

 | This is my hot pudding vendor and the puddings (there maybe more puddings created). |
 | Imagine a Norn breed which doesn't need to be led to food, breeds well without obsessing over other Norns, and doesn't let itself get depressingly bored. Also without obsessively and unnecessarily: walking into walls, pushing buttons, riding the elevator, pushing dispensers, pushing other Norns, "eem like em" syndrome, crowding/herding, or antisocial behavior which can become common in creatures full of edits. All right out of the egg!
Yeah. The Norns grew brains. God save us all.
In other news, I am trying to start the process of making sprites for these disconcerting prodigies. Here's some concept art! |
 | "You can be anything you want to be," said the Shee, "Anything your heart desires."
"Anything?" asked the young Harlequin.
"Yes." said the Shee.
"Well, then I want to be the night sky," decided the Harlequin, "at that time just before the sun rises."
Thusly, they painted her with starlight and the first rays of morning, the faint clouds that would disperse with the sun. They called her Dawn.
I contributed something!! Oof. |
 | KittyTikara says: "It's a modest collection of plant agents I came up with over the summer. I didn't have time to make them this year, but maybe I'll make a few next year? My favorite is the swirly flower, which I've been calling the Whirl Flower. If anyone else wants to make them in to an agent, PM me on CCaves and I'll most likely say yes."

 | As I went outside for a walk today, I found a norn and a grendel standing on my doorstep. They weren't black and white, but they were covered with spots and splatters of several different colors. As soon as they saw me, they hurriedly started to tell me it was an emergency and they desperately needed my help as soon as possible. I asked them what it was they needed, and they told me about what had happened.
Apparently these two were diplomats. Diplomats have a uniform to make them easily recognizable, and they had been getting theirs repainted. Unfortunately, an earthquake struck, and all the tins of paint were knocked over and wasted. More paint would arrive in the next week, but they needed their uniforms in time for a treaty signing tomorrow.
I agreed that this was definitely quite the emergency, and asked them what their uniforms were. They told me that first, their bodies, arms, and legs needed to be bright green. This symbolized their peaceful intent and made them easily recognizable. Next, claws, teeth, horns, and anything like that needed to be blue. This makes them stand out and shows that they do not want to attack. Lastly, they needed the diplomatic symbol, a green heart within a blue star, shown somewhere prominent. The rest of their bodies could be any color they wanted, as long as it wasn't offensive.
With their uniforms completed, the pair went off to complete their mission. |
 | Norn_XXL says: "The drawing represents my first two Norns from CreatureLink in Creatures Caves, Logic (male), on the right, and Jester (female), on the left. Logic has a Hardman head, Siamese body and tail, and Zebra limbs, while Jester has a Siamese head, Bengal body and tail, Zebra arms, and Harlequin legs. The scenario is C1-ish, with an addition of an aubergine plant (idea thanks to Laura and her Garden Box agent with the same name). They were very important to me, and as they both turned elder, they looked so beautiful, with the silver hair and all, however, I couldn't stand to let them die, so I exported them. However, I can see them everyday in my head playing, happily."

 | After hearing of the miracle I had worked for the first Norn, another black and white Norn came to be colored. As he explained to me, he lived in a nature world. It was full of lush forests, shallow ponds, and clear blue skies. In that lovely place, he stood out. The other Norns had never seen anything like him. Unfortunately, they became rather frightened. This was bad news for him, since he had fallen in love with a Treehugger girl.
He had come up with a solution, however. If he looked like everything around him, he would be able to talk to the girl without her getting scared.
After hearing this story, I got out a different set of paints and got to work. First, I dyed his hair to look like grass. Next, his face was painted with the colors of water. His nose became a bright red berry, and his ears became beautiful petals. His tail was a little pine-cone, and his arms were branches. His body became sand, and his legs were dark green stalks. Some nail polish made his toes into pebbles, and colored mouthwash did the same to his teeth.
Soon, he was ready to go home again and win the affection of the girl he loved.
Thank you for making these colouring pages, DarbyDoo! |
 | Looks like the best hairdresser has come to town! Don't worry that her fluff is albino, she'll still make you laugh and give you the best hairdo ever! |
 | Once upon a time, there was a Norn who was black and white. She was quite unhappy about it, since all the other Norns made fun of her bland appearance. One day she decided that she couldn't bear their taunts any longer, so she talked to the Hand, whose name was DarbyDoo, and asked to be sent through the Warp to a more accepting world.
Darby told her that, unfortunately, there was no Warp anymore. The Norn was quite sad to hear this, but she brightened up when Darby told her that she could be sent through the internet instead. She got ready, and was soon sent along into the internet. She was collected and put into a group for something called a 'CCSF'. She hadn't a clue what this was, but she was happy about it, since she then got downloaded very quickly.
She explained her plight to 'Tarilithina', who thought for a while until she had a solution. She gathered some supplies, and then came back to the Norn. She acted fast, and soon the Norn had paint on her fur, dye in her hair, a band around her tail, and some nail polish on her toes. She looked into the mirror, and found that she was now just as colorful as the other Norns! She thanked Tarilithina dearly, and went back to the internet, ready to be sent to her home world again.
Thank you for creating the colouring pages, DarbyDoo! I had lots of fun coloring this one in. |
 | Found this. So... what do you think? Creepy isn't it? I just love it. |
 | Now cleaned up and ready to share among the Caves population! Originally edited on my phone using the Sketchbook Mobile Express app made by Autodesk. |
 | A piece I did by drawing the outlines of Creatures images, using straight lines and then filling it in black twice. Any feedback would be appreciated! ![[nsmile] [nsmile]](/images/smilies/emot_smile.gif)

 | This one was a pain to do. Most of the time Inkscape just froze up, or the end result was rather pixelated for some reason. |
