They just..somehow blur the furred parts.. :s odd
Nah, making actual fur with alphas/opacity isn't a thing for mobile games, at least not for short fur and whole bodies..

The probably used alpha maps. I believe it's the most popular technique of simulating fur in videogames.

I plan to sculpt some texture on it. I'm not sure right now how they made the ingame CO norns, should check it out..

Ah yes, I'm familiar with that. It's just a shame it takes so long to render when using fur.

Hair and fur plugin in 3D studio max. It's a bit tedious to work with though, and I just want to pose it and take a nice render, then remove the fur and export to make it an actually useable game character.
