 | These are some prototype heads for a custom breed I'm working on. I'll go over the details:
- Design may or may not be influenced by anime
- More markings in old age
About the gray-scale colors, I intend to make these a base for colored breeds. I've heard colors show better on gray. So, that's pretty much it right now. Anything I could change? Who else thinks the scared sprite looks more like it just got scarred for life? |

They're adorable. I think it might be a good idea to go with lines 1 more pixel thick and also blend the color so it doesn't look like there are lines. You can also slightly bend the lines, there are shape methods in paint that work, and even then, you can modify it slightly.
This is great though!
You could call them Dream Kitten Norns, as the grayscale looks dreamy

They're still very pretty pixel art!

If you wanted to, you could always try GIMP for size. It's a fairly decent image program, and it's free.

I know they're not good sprites, but what do you expect when all I've got to work with is windows paint and zero patience?

We already have the Cat Norns for Creatures 2. What about the 'Jellicle Norns'? Gotta love a reference to CATS the musical.

I think I'll go with Cat Norns as a working name, because the overall design is very catlike. Suggestions for better names?
