What is your school like and what are the kids like.

The kids at my school (most of them) are awful. They are loud and swear at you. It is really hard to fit in :(

If you look or dress a certain way, they label you. I look fine and dress ok though, I am one of the good kids lol

Just a note: In the spirit of protecting the privacy of the members of this forum, I advise heavily against discussing personal information (and yes, the name of your school counts as personal information) here on the forums.
Discussing what goes on at your school is fine, so long as you don't disclose anything you shouldn't.

My college is awesome! OK, we have a bad art teacher (that is annoying, for me) but otherwise, I wouldn't trade it for any other school.
Awesome kids, because there's no primary schoolers.I've made tons of friends there.

Maybe in NZ they call all schools Colleges. I'm homeschooled, as you know, so I basically spend no time with friends (the few that I have) and study a lot. But we get lots of free time :) And I get to hang out with friends here.

Yep, I'm homeschooled, too, so all I have to entertain me is my sister and brother. We don't have to all go in one room at once so my mom can teach us; I just go off and read the boring textbooks and write the answers in notebooks. I've noticed (from my own experiences) that you can get away with not doing school for a lot of holdays that don't even exist if you are homeschooled. In other words, I love it!

As I have mentioned before, I am homeschooled. I am also an only child, so the only thing annoying are my parents.

I live in england and therefore have to wear *dundunDUUUN* the dreaded catholic school uniform. But I still manage to get labled for wearing enough eyeliner to drown a small animal.
My mates are awsome, but other than that I'm not too keen on school. I love my english, history and art lessons but anything else just depresses me. I cant wait to get to college and concentrait on a few subjects I really enjoy, as well as having more freedom.
Speaking of which, I have a college interview on wendesday, wish me luck :)

May the force be with you.

Like my sister, I'm homeschooled. I love reading history books, and enjoy it greatly. The idea of school scares me.

I'm in college.

So, I basically go to school with all adults. That's not say that were all mature, but adults none the less.

I'm at the same school as DG.

It's great and awful at the same time. Compared to alot of schools in our town it's paradise, but the high reputation means they pile alot of pressure on us. All that they are fussed about are the league tables.

The people in our yr are sort of cliche. We have the chavs, the 'emo's', the boffins e.t.c. But the weird thing is, I don't fit in with the popular people, yet I'm not enough like 'The rejects' to be accepted by them either. I'm not fussed, because I've got amazing friends, but there are a good few people who deserve a slap.

I'm in college. Actually i just switched schools. My old one had dormatories and was 50 miles away from home - I had to take a three hour trainride there and back every weekend. The classes are nothing phenomenal, too many lecture halls. Some of my classes have 600 people - very impresonal. I hated this school terribly though.

I just transfered to a new college however, now I'll be in the city. So I'm gonna have to take a long train ride every day but it'll be to civilization (old school was in the middle of nowhere) and a lot of my high school buddies actually go there. I start school in the end of january. I'm actually kind of excited.

I feel sorry KC11... nothing could be more horrible then that as far as schooling goes. I can't imagine being a homeschooled only child!

I tend to like to be alone.

Also, I've written a lot of good begginings for books!

And I have a lot more free time and can be myself, instead of catering to siblings.

Still... I do wish I had a little brother or something.

I'm just tired of school. Tired of trying to look good in it. College is hard (and i mean the american term college, for 18+ year olds). I finally understand how people who drop out feel, kind of. Not that I ever would. But more than ever I really want to finish it off and move on with life. I like work. *shrug*

...I'm a bad influence.

Ah, the standard college GE classes. Can't live with them, can't graduate without them. :P

I love my school. I wish I could say more about it without jeopardizing my own privacy, but the campus is great and the city it's settled in is beautiful. And the people... I think they're the main reason I'm glad I left home to come here. All of the students I've met have been extremely nice and considerate, even if they can be horribly stubborn at times. The professors... that's a different story, but I the good largely outweigh the bad.

HighSchool.. It's a good life, it's not all the annoying.. Except for the fact that everyone that knows me, knows that I correct and help my science teacher more than he does for me.. Oh, And that my only "exfriends" are that way because of religious persecution. How fun. :D

No really though, school is nice.. But I cannot wait until real education.. A college waay far away from this state.

I love all of the different levels of education being called "college." >.>

I started school a year early and then skipped a grade, so I graduated from high school when I was 16. I could have had a Bachelor's Degree at 20 if I wanted to, but I'm not quite that dedicated. :D

Imagine Graduatin from high school when you're only 16. Thats pretty cool! My "school" I guess is going fine. Today we're taking a break, though, so that we can clean and take down the Christmas Tree.

@EM I know what you're saying about the different groups, except my school is 95% Chav, the other 4% are the Non - chav jocks, and the 1% goes to those who class as "Wierdos" or "Misfits" but being in this group myself, I have to admit, it's the most fun even if there are only 9 of us, we still have a good laugh.

my highschool is interesting, seeing as there are only like two kinds of people: people I know and people I dont. Its like if you hadent already known somone you would be totally invisible. And alot of groups are based on what school you used to go to. Or somtimes groups are based on what I call "nerd level". Either way everyone finds a place in space.

Nine times have I been told im crazy and ten times I have accepted it.
