It was a hundred years ago that day, when a spaceship and a smaller one from a black hole went into orbit around earth. The scientist discovered on it that the two docked ships were carrying lifeforms. Yes, it seemed that these Norns, Ettins, and Grendals, marrooned on the ships found a new home. For also the humans were pleased, and set about breeding and creating Norn species, these sweet, advanced creatures, for a hundred years. and the proof, that there was or is intelligent life. the Ark and the Docking Station also left behind a lone Shee's diary, from wich then it became the litatrue of the century.

Jacob could not stop reading the Shee's journal. He knew that he should be on the bridge of the reconfigured Shee Ark, checking the Norns and figuring shippments and other things important for a captain. Besides him by the table slept Gracie,in her Norn bed, a Treehugger. She was tired after playing with Duncan the Bondi.
Jacob shut the journal and procedded to the bridge. The Shee Ark was configured for humans, and in the seasons served as a zoo with Norns and other in their habitats. only the rich could afford a couple, as they were a new commodity pet. the Ark was expanded, a new room every few months for a newly devolped species. Yesterday they got a shipment of the new Dream norns, who were cuter and fluffly. he passed the endless windowed doors of metarooms, filled with Norns, Ettins, and Grendals. the corridoor was quiet, as the ship was closed for Veteren's day.
He appeared on the ship's bridge, newly added. He sat down in the chair and waited for the briefing from Earth, which was on screen.
"Linda, any newsor disturbences? Holidays are always so quiet."
Linda was the Norn curator, who along with her Bondi was the only one on the bridge with him. Jacob was always attractid to her. and he felt the same with her.
"Well, most of the crew is relaxing. why not you? you seem tense." Linda came over to the comms. table, watching the holigrams of the evening news."you should rest up. tomorrow is another day, with 4 school trips. sigh.i think we need more vacations and the Norns are feeling it to. the Ettins seem to sense something else, but it is probobly nerves." Linda sat down, while Duncan the Bondi came up to me.
"Where is Gracie? Maybe play with toy?"
"Gracie is alsleep. you can go to her in my quarters."
"maybe me and Gracie can hide. maybe retreat."
"Duncan? what is wrong?" Linda said, watching him retreat and become scared. Then Jacob suddenly felt some disturbance. what was going on? then he saw on the screen a ripple in space. What? he rubbed his eyes and it was gone. he turned to Duncan who returned somewhat normal.
"Linda? what happened? I, I saw a ripple, out there, and a bad feeling."
"I dont know about a ripple in space, but i felt something. i better calm the rest of the Norns and report to Earth what happened." Linda shakingly got to her feet, and was talking on the ship wide radio to the staff.
Jacob sat, tryng to summerize what he was going to tell Earth. Was this wide spread? and what was the ripple?
