I wanted to know if converting a certain breed/cob/etc. for personal use would still be considered a violation of the author's terms of use? For example, if there is a breed from C1 or C2 that I would want to convert to C3/DS but not share it online, would that be okay? My intention isn't to steal someone else's work, I just want to clarify if converting sprites in my own game and keeping it private would be acceptable. More specifically, breeds that have a strict policy on editing sprites. |

If it's for your own personal use nothing is stopping you, things only get iffy if you decide to share it (and even that depends on author permissions and stuff). Doodler, painter, baker and ridiculous idea haver. |
