So I got that notification that said my norn was pregnant, but its been probably 15-20 minutes and she won't lay her egg? Here are some (maybe) problems to troubleshoot? I found her after the notification and she was sick with Antigen 0 and a Fever toxin. I cured her, she's good now. She is a norn/grendel splice, mated with a male norn. She's a CFF mix, and she has successfully laid an egg before this. I used the hoverdoc and figured that she's not producing progesterone, could I inject her with some to help? I don't have the knowledge to use my genetics kit, so if I can't fix her in game, I'm not sure what else to do. |

It might be that the disease damaged her reproductive organs, especially when she used to be able to lay eggs, but now can't. I don't know off the top of my head what antigen causes damage where. A large dose of progesterone is worth a shot (pun intended). When that doesn't work, there was some CAOS command to just straight-up trigger the egg-laying script of the norn. If you have the eggernator, you could harmlessly "extract" the egg as well. Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... |

According to the Creatures Wiki, Antigen 0 attacks the uterus. Any children she has will be fine, since the damage isn't caused by a mutation, but you might want to sterilize her after she lays this egg to prevent further stuck pregnancies. Edit:

Thank you both! I have no idea how to use the code, but if I figure it out I'll update this! Edit: I figured out how to use it, but it didn't work. Will install the eggernator. Hopefully that works! |

When the male partner is infertile, no impregnation happens to begin with. If you somehow force it anyway, it might render the child infertile, not the mother. Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... |
