Deleting existing metaroom?

Greetings! Yes me again ^^

This time I got an issues with deleting an already injected metaroom. Not all rooms have the "Remove" feature when installing a room, so how do I get rid of it? Especially the icons in the (the icon you click and it then takes you to that room)

Other unrelated question (figured to ask where rather than spam the forum) I bought the norngarden 2 long time ago and was given a password that worked back then. But now I have created a new world and it says the password is invalid, any ideas? Yes I spelled it correct and yes its the correct password.

NG2's password system has gone weird for me a few times-- there's a technique that involves opening as a raw file & searching the agent file itself for the password text (all possible passwords are stored in the unobfuscated code, so searching for your original PW will take you right to it) and going down the list to see which one works.

Removing a room tends to, simplified, involve doing all the code that was done to install it in reverse. So without a remove script, or a lot of patience to go through and find all the room IDs, species and script IDs, etc. you're probably out of luck. Sorry :( Maybe someone else knows of a more flexible way I never heard of?

The Norngarden 2 wiki article recommends that people contact Ali at Chaos Created for password issues. Have you tried doing that? Their contact page is here. Good luck! :)

Edit: Ninja'd. Xan's solution is probably quicker!

For the removal of metarooms: this is a terribly complicated and sensitive process. First of all you need to destroy all objects coming with the room. THEN you need to find any objects left which do not belong there (Terra Reborn plants in Norngarden for example) and SOMEHOW you must deal with them as well. Do not forget: creatures for example are non-native agents as well, so you can not just delete everything.
Once you got beyond this point somehow, you need to kill each individual room. Try using "dmap 1" in the CAOS console to see what I mean. Each trapezoid you see now needs to be deleted on it's own, 1 by 1. Good luck with that!
Next up, once all those rooms are deleted, you must remove the background image.
Then adjust the favorite places symbols. Find the spot you are in somehow simply by asking for the sprite file it uses, delete the agent and tell every single symbol after yours that they have to slide up by a slot. Also, adjust their positions. Then adjust their IDs as well to make sure future rooms do not inject to dumb random spots. Yaaaay!
To be honest? If you got THIS far, the rest is pretty trivial. Congratulations! You deleted a metaroom.
This is also the reason many rooms to not come with a remover at all. It is just too tedious.
Your best bet is to choose more carefully right now, as removing rooms is not really worth the effort.

You see, this is a pretty long, complex and tedious problem. And another problem is this: if just the TINIEST LITTLE error occurs, your remover will almost certainly glitch out, mess up, break and leave you with a mostly broken corpse of the metaroom you tried to delete.

For NG2: The password system is some CAOS script, not even an external security measurement. I do not want to go into details, as it might be used for a crack or something.
I am not sure on the details anymore, but I *think* your password depends on your hand's name (extend the middle menu to change) or the name you used to register your world with (none if using something like DS offline option) to choose the right password. I can try to PM you 2 or 3 different possibilities which might be right if you want.

Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis...

^ You use the name of the Docking Station account that you used at the time you bought it.
(and this doesn't work if you register the world under a different name for some reason, but it DOES work if you don't register your world.)

I'd rather use my current name, but eh.

I'll try contacting them if the others don't work.

Yikes! Good thing I use a test world for things like that.

I got a login disabler as DS is down and won't let you in, don't remember that my ds pass is, I do know the pass I got from Nordengarden which is not working anymore.
