Sometimes when I try to add the Bouncing Plums to my world, I get this error.
Runtime error in agent 1 205 22929 script 1 205 22929 1000 unique id 685768
Invalid map position (13283.000000, 20874.000000)
... 100 elas 80 aero 1 {@}mvto _p1_ _p2_ setv name "patc ...
It doesn't happen every time I place a patch, and it usually happens with patches of low densities. I haven't got any chili peppers in the world, so I've no idea what could be causing it.

I know this is entirely unhelpful, but... I... don't know? Sorry. For some reason, I have an idea that Malkin might know what's causing that error! I recall that she's reported some bugs with the Bouncng Plums in the past, but I've completely forgotten what they were. |

Is it just the Bouncing Plums, or is it any low-density patch plant? Where in your world are you trying to put them?

It's just the plums. I'm trying to put them in Veridia.

Hmm... That actually looks a lot like the error that kept crashing my game. |

And now I've got a patch of carrots and a patch of Explodonuts disappearing with errors that I didn't catch.

I have a feeling it's low density patches in general. I've gotten the error many times while setting up worlds with low densities. It likes to happen to Laura's plants in particular I find, because I always end up setting them to a lower density so they don't spam my worlds with food. I just got a similar error when trying to set up a world. The error happened in the C3toDS Norn Terrarium, from what I can tell, and it happened when I added the new Eggstravaganza plant. The first error was:
Runtime error in agent 1 205 14868 script 1 205 14868 1000 unique id 191395
Invalid map position (2714.000000, 307.000000)
... 20 aero 1 fric 100 {@}mvto _p1_ _p2_ setv name "patc ...
Then when I hit kill agent (out of habit mostly) it errored with this then crashed:
Error in: WinMain
Failed to get meta room location

Do you think it'd help if I set higher ticks, so that there'd be less need for low density patches? I'm sorry they're causing such bother! >< |

It could just be a problem with mvto and low densities - a high density patch is more likely to put the thing in a valid location, perhaps?

I honestly have no idea? I've only noticed the issue with yours because I end up using yours more then Amais. The only other patch plants I use regularly are the bug patches. All I know is I run into this same problem whenever I try out seasonal food and lower densities.
Edit: It might also just be my personal taste when it comes to over population. I turn down the population on most patch plants whenever I use them.

Queer. I'm going to try adding them with higher density and seeing if that helps.

I've reposted this on the Garden Box forums here - hopefully that'll help bring it to the attention of Amai.

The invalid map part of the error makes me wonder if you are placing the patch plant too close to a room it can't grown in. I know I've gotten an error(but I don't remember what the error was) with the pumperspikel seeds if I place them too close to impassable room edges & then they happen to grow in just the wrong spot at the edge of patch & end up growing into that impassable area. |

Could that be because I'm using Room Edits, and the patch goes over an area that's been marked with "doord 0"?

That might be it, I'm pretty sure that was what was happening with the pumperspikels for me.
From what I've observed, the patch box is only the starting location for where the plant will grow. If the plant grows on the edge of the patch box,(I think the bottom & maybe the right edge of the patch box are more likely to cause the issue) most of it will be growing outside that patch box, & if that edge is too close to that 'doord 0', then when the plant grows too big & hits that 'doord 0' that's when you will get the error. |

mvto places the top left pixel of the sprite, so it's possible that some items could be 'hanging out the bottom' of the patch a bit.

I thought that might be the case. So it would be the bottom edge & the right edge that the items would be hanging out of. |

I think Mea has it. I often turn densities right down, but I've noticed problems only in certain areas - usually with carrots, as they tend to grow "through" the bottom of the patch they're in, and hanging things in the capillata, I think because the roof there is sharply angled in places. Can you turn on dmap and check the room boundaries relative to the patches? |

So a possible trick would be to turn on DMAP before placing your patch, and draw from the bottom right up to the top left?
