for some reason they disappear from my world. they're fine body wise and all that stuff, but they can't mate with norns, and every so often, one of them vanishes. what's up with that? |

I... that's really bizarre. I've never had them in my game, but--do they have special scripts/behaviors? If they vanish from time to time, maybe there's a bug in their script so the game autokills them when it pops up. Just a thought. As far as mating, aren't they supposed to be classified as Grendels? Even though they have Norn heads I've only ever referred to them as Grendels. Which can't usually breed with Norns. I'll bet the Inseminator would work though.  |

that message with the options of "ignore" and "brutal abort" comes up. i guess i better try looking for something to correct it. i think it's a sound file cuz that's what i read whenever the message popped up cuz they have grendel vocalization. and i've been using the ensiminator and actually created two very cute offspring. |

you said a sound problem? are you owning C3 or are you a DS-only player? DS is mainly Grendel-compatible, you just need the sounds. and of course some images of any grendel breed. in case you have no C3 would the Banshee Grendel Pack fix the problem, but its not longer available. (I have it, but I don't want to end up again in a discussion about copyright) on Ettins Revenge (for the link please look in the thread about your painful Plant Norns) they have also the Ettin and Grendel Voices free for download. just put them into .../Docking Station/Sounds Lets play plants! Yes, missing sound files are a big problem, for some stupid reason DS doesn't come with any Ettin or Grendel sound files, so if you don't have C3 you have to download them off the web. However, if you already have C1toDS installed, then you should only be missing the "oogh.wav" file, you should have all the others. You don't need any Grendel sprites to use a new breed. If any sprites are missing the game will just use whatever sprites are available, even if that means using a Norn's sprites for a Grendel or vice-versa. |

yes, the Vampyre Grendels have own images, so is there only the sound problem. and the missing oogh.wav is also easy to fix. just copy a similar sound and rename it so that it fits. or you really take any download. Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... |
