Yeah, it works basically the same way you would make anything into an agent. You need PRAY Builder and easyPRAY.
Do you just need help figuring out how to make the agent, or is there anything else?
Have you created any objects to go with the metaroom, and if so, have you rigged it yet so that they will be injected alongside the room?
I just did the whole process myself about a week ago, so I can probably tell you whatever you need to know.

easyPRAY lives up to its name--it is actually quite easy to use. You should just be able to double-click on it to start it up. There's a question mark symbol on the program's top menu, which leads to a "Help" option. This brings up a tutorial, which is how I learned to use the program. I'm fairly certain you can figure it out on your own, just doing one step at a time, but of course you can always come back here if there's something you don't get.
As a tip, you'll want to include the metaroom's .blk (located in the Backgrounds foler), along with its script file, as well as the favorite place sprite file, and also any scripts, sprite files and sound effects that go to any objects that come with the room.

In case you haven't made the images for it yet... in the Sprite Editor program, you can open up the sprite file for an existing favorite place marker; they can be found in your Creatures/Images or Docking Station/Images folder, and they all start with fav_place_(something or other). Each one contains three images: the first is the signpost that exists at the location that the favorite place is linked to, while the second is the icon that appears at the top of the screen, and the third is that same icon when it is lit up. You can make pretty good icons of your own even just using Paint.
There's a tutorial on how to code your favorite place icon here -- it's not too hard to do. They provide an example code in the tutorial, and you can actually cut and paste it into your metaroom's .cos file, at the end.
Just change the number "10" in the "new: simp 1 3 10" section to something unique--they've got a list of numbers here that shows which ranges of numbers have been taken by other people and which ranges are "free". Try to pick a number in a free section. Or if you aren't sure, you can just change that number 10 to 60601--that's in my range and I don't believe anyone else has used that number, so you should be safe.
Then change the name "fav_place_meso" to the name of the sprite file you made that contains the images of your favorite place icon.
Lastly, all you have to do is to change the "mvto" coordinates to your metaroom's favorite place coordinates. If you open up your metaroom in MapEditor, the cursor's coordinates are displayed in the far lower right corner of the screen, so you can put the cursor where you want the favorite place signpost to be and you'll have the exact coordinates. Or alternately, if you view your metaroom in the game, you can hold down Ctrl-Shift-X and it will display the coordinates of the hand. Write them down and hold down Ctrl-Shift-X again to make the coordinates disappear.
That's really all you have to do. By putting the code in your metaroom's .cos file, the favorite place icon will be created in a world at the same time the world itself will be created. Very convenient!
