I personally haven't been finding the comments feed useful for a long time. There are so many comments posted every day, it's basically impossible to keep up with it. Therefore I've changed the comments feed to be more similar to the likes feed: The default is to only show comments which have been posted on your posts, though there's an option on the Settings page to keep it as before (all website comments). This should make the comments feed more relevant, since comments on YOUR posts are most relevant to you. I'm not sure if this is working perfectly yet, so please let me know if you notice any issues. It seems to work, but I only see comments from after the change was made (i.e. precisely one comment in total.) Was this intentional? Edit: Scratch that, it's not a recent comment. It's the first comment on an old bibble, but it was showing up as new for some reason. Another edit: Turning on all comments doesn't work for me. It still shows the single, old comment. I keep getting notifications of a new comment, but nothing comes up when I click on the feed. |

It's not working right; I only have one comment when I know more people have commented on my stuff than that (and said comment was made on a bibble made a while ago). The all website comments feature still appears to be fully functional, though. Risen Angel's Creatures Blog |

Aye, I've set mine to 'all website comments' as I was only seeing two comments in the feed, but it doesn't seem to let me. It reverts back to 'my comments only'. Trell "Holy crap in a casket!" |

Yes, true. It just said 6 new comments for example. When I clicked on the link, there were no new, though. When I switched from "comments on my post" to "all comments", they were no longer marked as new. Also, the "comments on your posts" thingy doesn't seem to work 100% yet. I do not see the 2 comments on my current bibble for example. Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... |

Hmm sounds like a bit of a mess. I'll work on fixing things now. By the way, I should have mentioned that only comments posted after I posted this reply will show up under "comments on my posts". Comments posted prior to that are incompatible with the feature. However all comments should show up when "all comments" is selected. - Rascii |

Update I've retroactively made ALL comments compatible with the new system. When you view your comments feed now as "comments on my posts" you should see all comments on any of your posts. - Rascii |

I'm having the same problem as TrellyDawn. I want to see all comments, but I can't set it to "all comments", it just reverts to "my comments only" immediately. |

I've also found that trying to navigate between pages is a dodgy business, if I happen to be looking at 'all comments'. For example, if I'm viewing 'all comments' and try to go to page 2, it goes to page 2 of 'comments on my posts', if that makes sense? |

Yeah, Nutter: There's a drop-down menu at the top of the comments feed. You can select 'all comments' from there, and click the 'Find' button. |

Update For those of you who preferred the 'traditional' comments feed in My Caves (being notified when anyone posts a comment on any post), you can now switch back to this format. Simply go to your settings, change Comments Count to "enable (all comments)" and then click the "save notification/subscription preferences" button. If you prefer only being notified when someone comments on one of your posts, you can leave the preference set to "enable (comments on my posts only)". Depending on which option you choose, your comments feed will also default on showing the corresponding comments when you click on the page. If you have any questions or feedback, please let me know. Don't forget that regardless of which option you have selected in Settings, you can always view either All Comments or Comments on My Posts Only by using the filter at the top of the comments feed. - Rascii |
