News Forum The Island    ArchDragon   3/28/2011 Hey guys, For the past 6 months or so I've been working on a little side project. Those who frequent Creaturetopia will know it as 'The Island'. There were some lengthy discussions on Creaturetopia as to whether a Creatures 4 game should be made in 2D or 3D and the potential problems that could arise. Being a 3D artist I'd push for 3D and wanted to do some tests to figure out what how these problems could be addressed. In a nutshell, what I've been doing is attempting to create a game to address potential problems should a Creatures 4 ever be made. I've been using Unity3D as the gaming engine and kept a blog for people to follow. A couple of days ago I made a new post with a youTube link where you can see a 3D Norn walking about and interacting with the environment. Check it out and let me know what you all think! He'll often get stuck behind rocks or even worse, locked down between animations and just stops working. That said, it is possibile for me to upload a trial version if there's demand for it.
