The online store GOG is currently holding a half price sale on Creatures games, for those of you looking to pick up copies that will run on Windows Vista (and Windows 7).
So, if you hurry, you can now buy The Albian Years, Creatures Exodus or Creatures Village for just $5/£3.24 each, or $15/£10 for all three, and then download the games from their site straight away.

$15 for all three games, instead of $30?
Patience really does pay off.

My goodness!
Albian years is both C1&C2?! $5 for both?!
Well, it's good to be patient. I already have C3 and I still have DS, but I could always try these for my B-day!

Maybe I should get The Albian Years. Should I get Creatures Village also? Probably not. |

Get it, it may be a kids game, but it is still enjoyable as a Creatures game IMO.

Definitely get Creatures: The Albian Years! It includes both C1 and C2, along with a bunch of extras. $4.99 is an amazing deal for it!
I purchased Creatures Village from GOG.com a little while back. It was definitely a different kind of game for me, but really did not hold my attention. I played for a week or two before returning solely to the main games in the series. I thought it was pretty fun in some senses, though, so you might want to give it a try for about $5. I know one of the major issues is that the ambient music doesn't work, which made for a lot of silence!
Either way, enjoy the games! I highly recommend C1 and C2, which started the whole series. Good luck!

Huzzah! Ye gods and angels, I now have Creatures and Creatures 2! It's just WONDERFUL being in the true world of Albia after being away from it for such a very long time. C12DS managed to keep the dream alive, but now I doubt I will be playing Creatures 3 again any time soon! And I also finally get to try Creatures 2. Hooray! Jessica, I intend on adopting some of your old Discover Albia norns soon. However, I am not planning on purchasing Creatures Village... It does not seem to appeal to me.
So far, I have not even hatched my first norn! I have been busy changing the learning computer. Here is the way my norns shall speak:
Yes = Yay
No = Nay
Come = Approach
Run = Leggit (Leg it)
Pick up = Acquire
Drop = Dismiss
Left = Thisaway
Right = Thataway
Sleep = Retire
Look = Behold
Pull = Heave
Push = Ho
Stop = Cease
Sorry for getting a little off topic there, but I am ecstatic

The Albian Years and Creatures Exodus are definitely worth getting in the sale,
..but the extra cost to buy Creatures Village too is so small now they are half price that it probably wouldn't harm to add that to the cart too
