Sounds cool
Once I did something similar with normal volcano rocks and the EMIT command. Suddenly I had lots of jungle plants grow on my bridge XD

If I recall correctly, the latest version of the Weather machine thingy I made also emits moisture, heat and cold depending on the weather. I think the rain even provides traces of nutrients.
