News Forum The Colorvariating Grendels    Arnout      1/23/2010 I just released my new breed, i am creating this topic because there are a lot of bugs with them on the egglayer and i will be releasing the updates in this topic. Dowload another beta here. This is a version which allows you to hatch them from the grendel mother, i,m still trying to fix the egg agents. You won,t hatch them when you have the Ettin and Grendel egglayer update because that one allows you only to hatch normal ettins and grendels, and i am not sure about the Grendel upgrade, and it will not allways hatch my grendels because you might have other genomes starting with a G. Water is able to breath underwater and coldness will heal injury's from them, they never shiver, they can also die in the ettin desert if you leave them over there for too long, and they can die from hotness... Dark and light have the opposite appearence of each other but they are cousins from each other and they both age 2 times as fast as normal grendels do. Heart gets friendly when it's around other Grendels on his/her adult age and ages just like Dark and Light do. Blood is extremely agressive against norns and it will easily slap norns to death. Psycho lives twice as long as normal grendels do, it also is somewhat more agressive then the others but not as agressive as Blood does. Mudder is able to eat everything, it lives from Food, Fruit, Seeds, Bugs, Detritus and even Critters! They also get healed from injury when hot or cold. It is able to breath underwater. Lava is the weakest one of the group, it has to live in the ettin desert, because it will die of coldness, hotness is good for him and will heal injury's. Water will hurt him/her and also give injury's to him, but he/she is able to breath underwater. Yellow allready liked to grab eggs on its baby age, but other then that, there is not much so special about them.. Green and Darkwoodgreen both are using the same genetics as a normal grendel does, just like yellow there is not much special about them. Template is just a normal one with only the extra pigment genes... And as i told you before in the readme, feel free to use the template for your own genetic breeds. My TCR Norns   Arnout   1/23/2010 I am also working on the Multicolored ettins, they are quite alike of those, but all are amphibian.   Sanely Insane RisenAngel Manager     1/23/2010 These guys are fun to play with and are quite pretty to look at, but they're quite violent...about 5 seconds after they hatched, they were beating each other up. When they became a little bit older, they started killing my norns. And not one of them was of the blood variety. Also, there's a breed called "Limestone" in the .zip, but it's not mentioned in the readme. Are these ones any different from normal grendels? ~ The Realm ~ Risen Angel's Creatures Blog   Arnout   1/24/2010 I forget that one, its somewhat weaker then the others, other creatures can slap it much faster to the death. I had not the problem with blood, are you sure you did,nt hatched anything like those two beneath? I also had the slapping problem, most of my agressive CFE creatures are slapping each other to death, i am even having this problem with my ettins!   Sanely Insane RisenAngel Manager     1/25/2010 Not in my first batch (which I know had Water, Psycho, Lava, Heart, and Mudders). The problem ones were particularly the mudders (not the Psychos, for some reason), but the rest were also fairly violent. I can live with it, I just figured I'd point that out (since the readme almost suggests frendels for some breeds). ~ The Realm ~ Risen Angel's Creatures Blog   Arnout   1/26/2010 Most of them need norns, so they do not slap other grendels to death, most of them only get agressiv when they smell norns, they all use a modified C3 grendel genom.   ratkinzluver33   2/14/2010 Well I downloaded them and I put a blood into my world by mistake. UH OH.
