I've decided I'd like to try editing the Draconian Norn sprites. Permission as a separate topic aside for now, how would I go about getting a copy of the sprites that I can work with? Is there a way to pull the sprites out of the files I have or do I have to get the originals from their creator?

The easiest way would be to get one of the agent decompilers which are suggested all over the Development forum. The two most popular include REVELATION and a feature of Jagent. That way you can disassemble existing agents, usually even with comments and all, and look how they are made, creating your own with minimal changes.

All righty. I wasn't sure if Jagent was able to export the image files in a useable state. Thanks!

Don't forget to try the Spritesheet function in Spritebuilder.

If you've already hatched a breed in your game, the sprite files already exist inside your Creatures 3/Images or Docking Station/Images folder. So you don't technically have to decompile anything... although you may find the sprite files you want easier by decompiling since you won't have to sort through the sprites for all the other stuff in the game.
