So,about that Artemia set... in order for the creatures in the set to swim, the Chemical 63 emitter needs to work. The thing is,I have no idea how to get it to actually emit. I discovered that it wasn't working when I suspected something fishy after none of the testing creatures left the ocean floor once, and monitored chemical 63 in one of them. How the heck do I get the darn thing to emit? |

The gene that makes my Artemia Grendels swim looks like this. Never mind the fact that the gene's emitting "Swimmerase;" that's the same thing as chemical 63. If the emitter gene in your genome looks something like that, it should work. Additionally, make sure that it's actually an emitter gene and not a receptor gene (which looks similar).
If it isn't working, it's possible that the half-life of chemical 63 is set to decay instantly. In that case, you'll need to change that by opening the half-life gene, scrolling down to 63, and adjusting the scroll bar.
