Is it possible for norns to go up stairs if the stairs are coded as an incline? I assume yes, and if so then is it possible for a norn to go up one inclide to a new floor level and then immediately go up another incline going the opposite way to a second level?
In other words, can I make a norn walk up this?
The norn walks up from the bottom going right and reached a floor level that is set at the middle of the staircase. Then the norn walks up the rest of the stairs going left and reached the next floor level.
Is this possible?

I'm not sure, but it seems like it would be cool if it works. |

It could probably be done...but it might need to be faked to a degree, such as telling norns they need to go the other way, and making the second walkway accessible whenever a norn steps to a certain point, depending on whether they want to go up or down. I would avoid it, personally, as the engine just isn't designed for that level of 3 dimensionality. |

Yes, I agree. I'm just throwing in a lift instead of stairs. I just really don't love the lifts because the norns get stuck in them and sometimes they don't fit a motif of an area.
Thank you!

You can put in nice 'fake' stairs by just having a doorway with stairs inside act as a teleporter. I believe the Seaweed Tavern has these. I like those better than lifts.
But other than that it's not really possible. The map grid doesn't support rooms of that shape without major CAOS tinkering that would just confuse norns and agents.
