Do PERMs have to be set right at the beginning of an installation script?
can I tell the agent where I want it to be first and then set it's perm accordingly?
I want to put an agent in five different places and vary its' perm accordingly. Is this possible, or will it just give me big errors?
doif va50 eq 0
perm rand 50 51
elif va50 eq 1
perm 50
elif va50 eq 2
perm 51
elif va50 eq 3
perm rand 50 51
elif va50 eq 4
perm 50 |

You can change perm whenever you like, but it's very easy to get an error if the new perm causes the agent to get stuck.
In fact, this goes for all attributes. Agents can change attr, bhvr and lots of other things on the fly, you just have to be wary if their new settings might conflict with their situation.
