I spent the better part of a day making up a shiny new tutorial for people interested in learning how to code. It's very long, but very in-depth. Hopefully even the most green newb will be able to understand it. (Provided I didn't utterly goof and leave something out! lol)
Hope you all like it. Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3 |

Thanks Moe! I like to learn CAOS at some day, I'm sure I'll make use of these tutorials!

Pretty spiffy. It certainly would have been helpful to me had it been around when I first started coding.
I have a small suggestion, however - perhaps you could also throw in the "scrx" command into your remove script in addition to what's already there? I doubt anyone's going to want unused scripts hanging around their scriptorium once they're tired of the vendor and wish to remove it.

Lol, yes I forgot about that. Added.
Fixed some missing components, and added a Chocolaty Addendum. |

Well done, Moe.
Btw: in the part where you explain the remove script is a small mistake.

Lol, yeah, and I spelled "sprite" wrong on my "new: simp" reference card, but I can't be bothered to fix the image. XD
Somebody do let me know if you USE the tutorial. I think Part 3 may be a little heavier than the others, and it was harder to explain and moves quicker since it's review. I felt the pace was still acceptable...but I can read CAOS like it's a novel sooo...that doesn't mean much. :p |
