I'm working on an agent, and for some reason the sprites don't work properly in SpriteBuilder and ingame. They appear green and purple, rather than their regular colours.
Any help is much appreciated! |

The way to fix it if you're on Windows is to download BobCob and use it's sprite builder to open the sprite file (which must first be saved as .s16 by the CL Sprite Builder) and then check the radio for 565, resave, and convert it back to C16 with the CL Sprite Builder.
The only way to fix it on a Mac is to open a known 565 sprite file, import or replace all the frames, and save. The CL Sprite Builder tool *should* carry the format over. |

Edos has a checkbox to enable or disable 565 mode. I never tried out, but I guess you can open a file, make the box checked and then save to fix the file quicker.

I believe Malkin and I experimented with the Edos checkbox, and it was unsuccessful. :/
But it's always worth trying again! |

It did look a little like rainbow spew, but it wasn't a jumble of distorted colours. Just green and purple.
Moe, I tried your method and it didn't quite work, so I thought I'd import them as .s16 files into BobCob first and then convert it to .c16 with SpriteBuilder. That worked C: thanks guys! |
