Hay guys!
I'm looking to get the Biodome room into a playable state, and while lots of it is done, there are a couple of areas that still need work.
I need 3 or 4 people who enjoy graphical work to complete several sections of the room. The room as it lies is below: the sections highlighted in Blue are the ones that need doing. If you're interested in contributing post here or drop me a line! Contributions do have to be of a certain standard to fit in with the rest of the room, but I'm not too fussy. Original 3d art and composited art from C1/2/3/DS are welcome!
The plan for this room is not to give it its own unique ecosystem, but for people to use agents of their own choice to fill it up as a place to raise norns. Being rather large, it might do well for a wolfling run, etc etc. It will be complete with cellular automata, methods of transportation and any special agents the community contributes.

The more, the better--if you want to help and I've already got 3 people, that's fine, as I'll write in some code that allows you to change the background of a room on the fly! Level 2 especially.
If you've previously made a background for the Biodome, and it's not here, contact me and send me it! Specifically, I'm looking at you, Spook!
So guys and girls, get your Photoshop or modelling skills on... ideally I'd like to whip through this and have it released during the CCSF!

Sorry I am unable to volunteer, as I don't have any artistic skills, but WOW. This'll be incredible when it's finished. It looks so beautiful.
This had better be released for the CCSF, I want it. |

It's really unique and beautiful! A must-finish. It would be a pleasure for any proficient 2D artist to work on.

Haha, it's true though. Working on new projects, and getting excited over new releases together does help the community thrive. It's one of our strong points! Even though we haven't had a new Creatures game since Docking Station, there's always something new to develop and get inspired over, and the Biodome certainly looks inspirational. |

I can't really help, sorry. But I can instantly see where the topmost and bottommost lifts will go, as well as possibly the second-topmost.
That Norn in there shows the scale of the room, right? I know Ghosthande could do that missing background piece... (And if I'm correct, the top square of the missing part is roughly the size of a .blk file?)

I'd love see what Ghosthande would do with it, personally, so I guess we'll see!
Not sure what you mean by that last bit, though? A .blk file is the background image, and can be of any size.

I got a e-mail from Grendel Man (sadly a bit late, I recently changed e-mail) and... I got curious what's been going on in the CC since. Much fun to see that it's still thriving! Maybe even more then ever; as developers gain experience, things keeps getting more refined and advanced!

I think I remember hearing about this unfinished metaroom or something a while ago, and I was really looking forward to downloading it.
Right now, I really want to see it completed! I'm so happy so many people have contributed!
Though, about the fanfic, I think sam999 might mean his story he's making is just a fan made, an alternate story that does not effect the actual storyline of the metaroom. Basically, if Liam does already have the original story of the metaroom, then that means Sam's story is not canon, it's just something for fun he thought of.......
I'm getting REALLY interested in the topics in developement, so I'm beginning to consider joining in on a project XD
