 Poor Silver Bells. He's tasked with starting up an alpha-norn dynasty (based on Jessica's awesome world concept), but he's all alone. Perhaps you can help him, by providing the lady norns. He'll gladly take up residence in the the winner's world in gratitude! This is a festive, aquatic, colortrue alpha-norn run Scoring: +10 Points for every norn who becomes the chosen spouse +2 Points for every egg +2 Points for each child that gets to stay in the world +10 Points for every descendant that becomes the alpha +5 Points for every descendant that becomes the chosen spouse +3 Points for every hour the non-spouse norn is in the game +1 Point for every hour the spouse norn is in the game +2 Points for every hour a non-spouse, non-alpha descendant is in the game +1 Point for every hour a spouse or alpha descendant is in the game The winner gets the original alpha norn: Silver Bells! How do I enter? Norn Submission Form Name: You can provide a name, or let Caroling Wisemen take care of it for you. You may want to keep in mind that these norns will all be female. Sprites: What sprites do you want to use? You may want to keep in mind that this is an aquatic, festive-themed run, but don't let that hold you back if you have something else in mind. Tint: While RGB + Rotation and Swap values would be preferable, you can just give me a color and I'll try my best to make the norn that color. Submissions close on Sunday, and the run will go for at least thirty minutes each day next week. Updates will be posted on my Wordpress, which I'll link before the run begins. Good luck, everyone! I'll take the pure white Norn and name her Snowflake. The only problem is that the gender of a Norn depends on luck (and a cosfile). It would be interesting if it depended on genetics. |

Count me in! Name: Holly Flora Norn with Mermaid Norn tail and legs. RGB 128. Rotation 32. Swap 128. I think this should give some reddish and kind of a minty green in some spots, but it might need some tweaking on the rotation to get it with both red and green on it. I don't seem to be having much luck with this one so far, but here's what I've managed, Evolnemesis:  The first one is based on the given values, while the latter are my own attempts. Not pictured is Option D, which is to have me poke at it some more. Well, they are all kind of pretty... I really like how A looks, even if it isn't really christmas colors they are colors I like a lot, especially for an aquatic norn, but I think I like C... She's a nice kind of blonde with a slightly aquatic green tinge, and the flower in her hair looks red and green to me too. You can try rotation 176 with 128 for tints and swap, that MIGHT make her red and green... If not, just use C, and thank you... I won't be able to start working on the next few until after my exams today, but I thought I'd say something. When the run begins, the creatures will be hatched in a random order. Once all of them are hatched, I'll give them a minute to disperse before adding Silver Bells to the world. When a creature lays an egg, I'll move it to the top level, where it can hatch.
