General Forum Ugly Crossbreed Challenge    c1anddsaddict      8/31/2013  3 Much like the prettacies found on the sims, this challenge involves getting cute norns from ugly ones. Start with 4-6 creatures, of any age or generation (no super-breeders, fastagers or immortals, though). They can't be just any creatures, though. They all have to be different crossbreeds you consider ugly. The only limit to how many breeds you can mix is how many sprites you can mix. You can gengineer, splice, download, or get them through natural breeding before you begin. Tinting/rotation/swap is allowed (in gengineered creatures) in two circumstances. It either has to make the creature a color you dislike, or be a color that you think looks bad on a certain breed or mix. Don't worry about this rule for naturally bred, spliced, or downloaded creatures. Wild Card: For the first generation (that exists in your world. It doesn't matter whether the creature is generation 1 or 999 if it was born in another world), you may create a SERU norn for variety. If it dies before reaching breeding age, you may replace it until you get one that lives to breeding age. SERU creatures must follow the 'no fastagers/superbreeders/immortals' rule. If it breaks these rules, at any age, you may replace it. If it has offspring, either export them outright or check to see whether they break the rules. You may also do this every 5 generations in your world. Place these creatures in world you want, but make sure they're completely separated . Be as hands-on as you want, or leave them alone entirely. The goal is to go from ugly creatures to cute ones. I may post my attempts at such a challenge. After those oddball specimens crashed my DS two or three times, I finally got one that is kind of cute. His name is Frantic Thumb and I uploaded him to the TCR.
