On C3/DS, I was trying to make a bunch of purebred Norn breeds and warp them to other people. Just a few minutes ago, I hatched a baby Harlequin/Astro mix. I tried warping him to someone, but they warped him right back. Finally, I got so frustrated that I just stuck him in the medical pod and injected him with a bit of ATP Decoupler, THE most lethal poison. I looked at the bottom part of the screen, and sighed as I saw 'ATP Decoupler Detected' blaring in my face. And guess what? The bar went right back down again. I was amazed. This little Norn had evaded a deadly toxin that had killed even a Grendel ten times as strong as him? I injected some more, and the same thing happened. I repeated, same results. And then he said 'Me extremely bored.'XD I still need to do some more testing, but I think that I just got the perfect set of genes. And I've only had DS for less than 24 hours. Well then... You just got pretty lucky. Sometimes things like that will happen. By pure fluke. Look into his genes. If you don't mind, could I have a copy of his genetics files to look at? I'm most interested now. |

Well, you don't have to download it at all. You could export your norn, go into your "My Creatures" folder, and copy it to e-mail. Certianly doable. ^__^ Don't worry about the genetics file then. ^__^; |

I'll try and send it, but it'll probably take a while. I just did some more 'research'(by that I mean injecting random lethal diseases) and I found out that Basko (that's his name) is not totally resistant to ATP Decoupler; he just can fight it longer. I proved this when I injected a bit more than the minimum amount into him, and then he died instantly (don't sorry, I used the ol' Ctrl+Pause Break). I also gave him a medium dose of Carbon Monoxide, and he got rid of it fairly quickly. Then, I injected less than half as much into another baby Norn, and she didn't fully get rid of it (ctrl+pause break again). I think that Basko, even though he's definitely not totally immune, has a long life ahead of him, and will have lots of ATP Decoupler-fighting Nornlings. *looks at above post* Wow, I used WAY too many parenthases(sp?). o_O Can you touch the stars? Wow, that's really neat. Reminds me of my Norn "Painless", she was just like that but with pain. A couple of my Boney Grendels got ahold of her... she should have died three or four times over but she walked away without so much as a limp. What generation is Basko?  |
