General Forum Website Updates    Caves Dweller Rascii    Administrator     5/1/2008 Since not everything that I've been working on is necessarily news-worthy, I decided to start a thread so people can see the small updates that have been completed in the past few days. The list currently consists of: ? Removed the "Latest News: The forums have returned" from the headline on the homepage, as well as the date. It's now a more timeless "Latest News in the Community" ? Replaced the Google search box from the home page with a new Creatures Wiki search box that I think will be much more useful and relevant ? Added the new location with flags feature to user profiles and forum posts ? Currently working on a user profile revamp since the current ones are a bit outdated looking. You can check out the progress here, and provide input here ? Added "Posted By <user> on <date>" to the galleries comments pages to provide users with more information on the image when leaving comments. May also add the description of the image to the page ... and more to come! Post any suggestions you have at the previous link - no update is too small to be suggested. - Rascii   Caves Dweller Rascii Administrator     5/1/2008 • The view message and reply screens have been integrated. Now, when you view a private message, the reply box is right below so you don't have to click another link. Also, the "Delete" and "Save" links have been moved to the headline and now utilize the forum images (the "X" and the lock). • Additionally, the message notification screens have been integrated. Now, if you send, reply to, save, or delete a message, it takes you right back to your inbox and notifies you. Previously, a new screen would appear to notify you and then you would click a link to return to your inbox. You can let everyone know what you're up to at any time by going to your My Caves main page and entering something in the status update box. • Status updates can be seen in forum posts under signatures, private messages, profiles and the online users page. More status update features to come! - Rascii   Caves Dweller Rascii Administrator     5/3/2008 • You can now view messages that you have sent to other uses via the 'sentbox'. It will say [Unread] before the subject if the person has not read the message yet! So now you'll know if people are ignoring you or just haven't checked their inbox. - Rascii   Caves Dweller Rascii Administrator     5/3/2008 • The five latest user status updates are now listed on the My Caves Main page below the status update box. • User profiles now show the last time that someone was on the website (last online) as of today. If they haven't been online today or later, it won't show any date. - Rascii   Caves Dweller Rascii Administrator     5/23/2008 • This is sort of a minor update, but I finally added more information to the page titles on the website. For those of you unfamiliar when HTML, the title is the information shown in the top bar of your browser. It was really annoying before because when you clicked to view previous pages, they all just showed "creatures caves.com". Now, however, you'll see "creaturescaves | My Caves | Profiles" so it will be easier to go back to previous pages in your history. - Rascii
