Does anyone crack their neck or back?
Does anyone have a whippet other than me? |

Is this supposed to be a forum where you post weirdnesses? Or is everyone restricked to answering the two questions you gave?

does having every joint in my body make loud cracking noises when I move count? Even my ribs make crunching noises now & then (around the sternum, generally, not where I actually cracked them)

Well, I mean do you crack your joints on purpose, not really accidentally.
Sometimes my knees crack, but never my jaw. If you listen to my sister eat, you can hear her jaw popping in and out of its sockets. She just says she's wierd, and she's right. However, I should have SOME sort of respect for her, seeing as she is my older sister.
(To get off the subject, she also has very veiny ears)

I can crack my jaw. When I blink, this bit of my nose pops out. My feet crack whenever I walk. It gets annoying.
And I can remember pi to however many digits, but alot of people can. |

I am curious to why you post things like this, but...
Anyways, I crack my neck like, every morning. Its really quite annoying, actually. And I wish that I had a whippet, since they are such cool dogs unfortunately, we don't have one

awmanman - cracking joints affects you in the long run. It can affect elasticity of the joints, and in extreme cases can lead to arthritis and deformity. So if you crack your knuckles for years and years, it could lead to a problem eventually.
but most people tell themselves "I'll stop in 10 years, who cares." And they keep doing it. Y'know, just like smokers...

Yeah, see, I always thought it was bad for you. But what about neck-cracking? Is that going to cause some problems in 10 years? |

i assume all joints work more or less the same way. the cracking noise is popping a bubble in the joint fluid. You can google it.
And yeah i assume that it'd have a similar affect. And it is not necessarily 10 years specifically. Just doing it for years and years can eventually have an affect on usage of those joints.
actually, I'll google it for you:

I am homeschooled.
Seeing as this is a weirdnesses topic, I have two questions:
Does anyone else want to make and vidio game like I do?
and
Have you ever seen or owned a pet with a mutation? I.E, crooked ears, crooked nose, and the like?

I have a dog, a mutt, with some Jack Russle terrier, and maybe some poodle, in him. One of his ears sticks out away from his head, while the other flaps down like a normal puppy ear.

whippets are my favorite dogs to draw.
Generally, all sight hounds... they have such graceful features. Greyhounds, whippets, italian greyhounds, azawakhs, salukis, afghans, borzoi, deerhounds, etc. I can't resist those dogs. Don't think I'd own one, but I admire them to death. I just want to look at them, lol

I think that they might classify as easiest dogs to draw... But I don't draw dogs that much so I guess I can't classify.

Whippets are gorgeous animals, and quite the art form.. Labs are easier to draw, though.
My advice to a whippet buyer- look up other owner's opinions on the animal before buying it. If it is an only pet, it's a good choice.. And another thing- never ever let it become a couch potato or an animal that sits around most of the day.

My whippet is so lazy, and he follows me all over the house ALL day! He gets in the way a lot, too.
And, angel51431, sorry about the "Weird Stuff" post in the Strangeo forums; I didn't know there was already one going. |
