So when I first came across Slaterbait's timid norns, I was pretty curious about them. I recently tried putting some in my main save file world, and they died pretty quickly. The autopsy report always came up as unknown, but I do know that they will die if slapped enough, and the threshold of slaps for them to die is very low. I first tried raising some in the freedom project metaroom with some other norns, and it didn't go too well. They ended up getting into spoiled food and getting glycotoxin. Then one got slapped too much and died. I decided to raise one alone (technically another norn I couldn't export is there, but I put him in the C1 metaroom so they'd stay separate to not risk him killing her) on one of my other save files and see if I could get it to live to old age. So far the norn, which I've named Amethyst imminently got glycotoxin from eating spoiled radishes which I proceeded to remove. I think she might have also gotten slapped by the other norn once though, because I heard the slap sound as I was moving him. (Unless that was me accidently slapping him Regardless she seems fine at the moment. The description mentioned that timid norns are hard to feed but she seems to be eating just fine. Her liver anabolic is currently 63% from the earlier radish incident (and currently flashing red) which isn't good for a baby norn, but I don't see it decreasing at the moment. I really hope I don't accidently slap her. She's now a child, and has started sneezing for some reason, which I'm 99% sure is just a timid norn thing. I'm not sure why she's sneezing, since she doesn't have anything bad in her system and isn't sick. Other then that, she's doing okay and is very self-sufficient. |

Amythest became a adolescent, and got scared from the bramboo canes falling down, though I'm not sure if that's a universal norn thing. Nothing much happened, she has been doing fine and is able to care for herself on her own. She then became a youth. I'm trying to be very careful when petting her so I don't accidently slap her. I'm not sure if I should raise a male norn for her to breed with or not, since she can breed now. Her liver anabolic is at 59% and still flashing red. She also only seems to want to eat tubas and not any other type of food. (as in foods that are classified as food. She'll eat fruit and seeds just fine.) I did get her to eat a carrot, and she sneezed, which she hasn't been doing lately. |
