Creatures Caves

Hi all, I've been playing Creatures again after a LONG absence.

I'm currently playing C2. I have lisdude's Community Edition, and Canny Norns. Things have been going fine, but now some of my Norns have started to forget how to eat.

The oldest one (3 hours?) I got to eat again by telling him to eat and smacking him if he didn't. After he actually ate the first item, he started gobbling away. I tried the same strategy on the other one, but now she's just trying to get away from Hand/Food/Everything.

Any suggestions about how to get them to eat? Any additional COBs I should be using to help prevent this in the future?

I know C2 is prone to these issues, but for some reason it's my favorite! I'd like to get it to work if I can.
