Strangeo Forum The Friendly Banshee Grendel    GrayDragonEmily        10/22/2006 On a stormy night in the norn home... An egg was all alone near the lake. A male child Treehugger norn named Oak was exploring near by. He came to the egg and said "Poor egg, would you like to come with me to the treehouse?" The egg got bigger. Oak grabbed the egg and went home. His mom said "Oak, That is a Grendel egg. We should not keep it." Oak said "But mom, we can give the grendel Calm Balm!" "Alright we will keep the grendel egg." Oak's mom gave her Calm Balm. The grendel (Who they named Vickey) played with Oak. Later they ate dinner. Oak's mom said "Vickey is pretty nice for a grendel." Oak replied "Yes, she is pretty nice." "But Oak, tell her to drink Calm Balm." His mom said. The hand came over and said " Because you have a Grendel, give her Calm Balm. If you don't, I will have to take your grendel away. I will check up on your grendel every night to see if you are giving her Calm Balm." The hand picked up Vickey and said "You gave her Calm Balm. Nice job!" The hand left. Part 3 Oak's mom woke him up...she had horrible news, "Oak, we stole the Calm Balm from my Ex-husband's Hardman norn pack." [grey]I mean pack as in group.[/grey] "Who is your Ex-Husband?" Oak asked. "He is an AWFUL hardman norn, he only liked me for a punching bag. He is the one who killed your father, remember?" She said. "Sorry to interrupt." The hand said as it came in. "But it seems you ARE doing a great job with the Grendel." With that, it left. "Anyway, his pack is trying to overthrow the hand." Oak went to Vickey and and asked "Let's set a trap for him, how about I trick him into wrapping a long rope around him, you will be standing near the pond and when I say, You are doing a great job climbing, you pull the rope, sending him into the pond?" "Nice idea." Said Vickey. Part 4 coming soon. -GrayDragonEmily   GrayDragonEmily     6/18/2007 Part 4 (This may be a little long) Oak found the Hardman Norn, near the weather thing in the Norn Terrarium. "I bet you can't climb that tree near the pond!" Oak said to him. "Of course I can! I am Destroyer, the Hardman Norn. I can climb, as well as fight!" The evil looking Norn replied. "Prove it!" Oak said. "Okay, I will!" Destroyer replied. "But, just in case you fall, tie this rope to yourself." Oak said. Destroyer did as he was told. "One, two, three, climb!" Oak yelled. Destroyer starter to climb, when he was near the top, Oak yelled "You are doing a great job climbing!" Of course, Vickey was standing near the pond, when she heard that, she pulled on the rope, sending Destroyer into the pond. Destroyer somehow survived. "You tricked me!" Destroyer yelled at Oak. Destroyer chased after Oak and Vickey! Luckily, Oak had a random teleporter with him. His mom told him to use it if he was in danger. Oak yelled "Vickey! Get near the teleporter!" Vickey went close to the teleporter Oak was holding. Oak activated it, they found themselves in a strange part of the ship, next to them was a large, strange machine with no buttons. The square door-like thing on it opened up...out came a triangular head on a black wire-like thing. "I am Gaia." It said in a voice kinda like that of a Female norn, but it sounded a little robotic. "What are you?" Asked Vickey. "I am an intelligent computer, when a type of Critter, Beast, Bug, Pest, Plant, or Weed becomes extinct, I make some more of that type." Gaia said. Do you eat anything?" Oak asked. "Yes, I can get Hungry for Bioenergy if the ship's Bioenergy falls low enough, but if it's not too low, I don't get hungry. I can eat when I want, though ." "What things are edible to you?" Vickey asked. "I can eat Food, Fruit, Seeds, Potions, Manky, and occasionally, Critters like a normal Creature, but I can also eat Gadgets, Teleporters, Toys, and Dispensers, if they are movable." Gaia replied. Hawksight   GrayDragonEmily     10/4/2007 Sorry this took a very long time, but Chapter 5 Oak asked Gaia "How can we get rid of Destroyer?" Gaia said "He is immortal, you can only shoot him into space." "We will think of a way." Vickey said. "Goodbye, we will be on our way." Oak told Gaia. Gaia said "Goodbye, you can come again if you need my help." Oak and Vickey walked away. "Oak! Look at that door! Maybe we can find something in there that can help us!" Vickey said when she spotted a door with fish on it. Oak said "Sure, maybe we can find a smell emitter in there, or maybe a trigger!" With that, they opened the door. It was very beautiful inside. Suddenly, an ettin came up to them. "I am Lilly." she said. "So, Lilly, can you help us find a smell emitter and a trigger?" Asked Oak. "I have heard every word you where saying when you came to this door. I know where there is a lot of gadgets. Come with me." Lilly said. Vickey and Oak followed Lilly through the terrarium to another door. Lilly said "Come with me." and went through the door. Oak and Vickey followed. "Wow!" said Oak. It was the ettin desert. "We ettins collect gadgets, and yes, there is what you need in here, but only one of each, so take them to the replicator and give us the originals, and you can use the copys, but who will do it?"
