And he has a Parsi which is a religion you need to be born into, so as he married a christian, me and my dad cannot be one. Also why I'm stuck with this surname which gets my family searched on trains. My mums side of the family is half English and half Welsh. On my Mother's side, We're Greek, from the island of Kythera, on which Aphrodite was born. Not only that, But I'm from the line of Veneri on this side, who are the royalty of Venice. How cool.   Officer-1BDI     9/2/2006 I've somehow convinced half the people at school that I'm from a foreign country. Someone yesterday randomly pulled me aside and asked me what languages I spoke. I felt really stupid telling her "English," but it's the only language I know. Later, she told me she had thought I was Russian. Which is interesting, because I'm a little over half Irish (though if my dad's side of the family is anything to go by, I'm phenotypically about 90% Irish...), with a touch of German and Dutch, and maybe French. I've lived in... erm, that state that I live in all my live, so I'm not sure where people think I picked up this "accent" I supposedly have. O_o I don't mind being mistaken for someone from another country (I think it's kind of cool ), but I honestly don't see what the opinion's based on. I suppose, technically, I'm "American" too, but I've never really considered the country to be a source of any national bloodline, given how the population was/is composed of immigrants. Unless you mean Native American. Then you can disregard this last paragraph. You have to be honest with yourself when you are writing. Berloody heck!
