So, in my current world, I've been trying to keep tabs on what's been killing norns. I've had a few "isolated without food" and "drowned" deaths that made sense, but I've also had a few baby norns starve to death surrounded by food sources, a stillbirth and two adults that just died with moderate crowdedness and boredom but no other problems.
It might be a newbie question, but what's going on? Genetic mutations? Glitches? Environmental factors? |

Depends on the breeds. I've seen treehugger norns sometimes disregard nearby food sources that are not really close to them and just rest until they starve. Also what game in the series is this? |

Stillbirths are relatively common, and usually caused by fatal mutations or parents with incompatible genomes. I'm not sure what the other causes are, if there are any.
Bacterial infection is a common cause of death in all age groups. If you have DS, it shows up in the Hoverdoc, and there are ways to test for it in C3 - I don't know about C1 and C2.
Norns can also slap each other to death, at least in C3/DS. This can sometimes happen because of overcrowding. |

I'm playing C3/DS with the CFF genomes! My gene pool has Bondi and Hardman norns in it but those are the only "special" genomes. |

Are the Bondis and Hardman CFF as well or are they default variants? When they are default versions, that might be related to the stillbirth problem.

Hardmans are very artificially angry, at least in the default genome (no idea if CFF fixed this in them or not). They may have killed another Norn or two. Harmans are normally more inclined to kill Grendels, but if another Norn hits them... yeah.
Conclude with killer catchphrase.
