Creatures 3: Completely locking doors?

One of the biggest issues I have with C3+DS docked is that my creatures refuse to stay where I put them and prefer wandering the halls of the ship where they eventually die of starvation. I've downloaded an agent called 'door hider' but I found that this didn't affect all doors, nor did it really prevent my Bengal Norn from getting into the jungle. :/ It's a bit annoying, really...

Is there any way I can permanently lock those doors? Even if it's by using caos to completely remove them or something. I'd prefer an agent, but if it has to come to caos commands, then so be it.

Are you sure you used the door hider, not the button hider? They look very similar.
You must drop it right onto the door. The little red eye thing should give an indication if it worked or not.
Also, you must lock doors from both sides. If you only lock it from one side, you have a one-way trap.

Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis...

The DS Injector specifies it as Door Hider for DS. I had the door locked from both sides, but they were still getting through somehow.

My major problem is wanting to disconnect unofficial metarooms from other areas--for example, the Garbage Dump, which allows my creatures to escape to the DS ship and inevitably find their way into the Norn meso where they die eating healthy food. (I can lock the door in the portal room to prevent them from going any further, but they still wind up starving to death there sometimes...) The door hider won't even go near that door due to its location, so bleh.

Just now tried this. It looks familiar, so I must have had it at one point. It does a great job at preventing things from entering the vanilla rooms, and I can at least lock my Ettins out of the Jungle room for their own health's sake. Thanks!

No one else asked, so I will: did you activate the door hider? It isn't enough to just plop it onto a door, you've got to click it to make it turn on and actually function.

I activated it, but it wasn't until Papriko mentioned the button hider that I realized the agent includes BOTH. I thought it was just a door hider, haha. I MIGHT have been using the button hider instead when it came to the garbage dump room. (As for the rooms going to the official shee ark rooms, it could have been that I didn't have the buttons AND the door hidden? I'm pretty sure I had the door one on those, because I remember it being over the door, not the button.)
