Heyo everyone!
I'm new, and maybe I've missed a very obvious post explaining, but could someone please help me download a breed?
I'd like to download the Panda norns from Arnout (http://creaturescaves.com/downloads.php?section=Breeds&view=401&page=&do=like&likePostID=401&likePostComment=N) but I can't seem to figure out where to put the files! Do I have to cut and copy them all into specific folders, or do I just ownload all of the files in one place?
Thank you <3 |

All the .c16 files go in your Creatures 3/Images folder. All the .att files go in the Body Data folder. The .gen and .gno files go in the Genetics folder, and the .agent file goes in the agents folder.
I don't know why the .c16 and .att files are all jumbled up together-they should probably have been put in separate subfolders in the download if the breed creator couldn't put them in the .agent file. |

Ah, thank you so much!
I thought them being jumbled was just how they were supposed to be, was wondering how people have the patience to put so many breeds in their games!
It seems I don't have an Agents folder - would this be located in my Creatures 3 folder or a different one? |

Where did you get C3 from? The one for sale from GOG.com has an installation location that's a bit different to the older versions.

Yep, my game came from GOG
I managed to figure out where the agents file goes, and got all of the files in the right places, but the breed doesn't show up where I create eggs - do downloaded ones get produced somewhere else? |

Did you install the Remastered patch?
EDIT: You can also search '*.c16' while in the download folder and then just move everything in there to the right spot at once, because it won't show .att files due to you searching for all c16 files in the download folder. |

I didn't have it before, but I just went and installed it, and then checked for them again but they still don't show up.
Should I try downloading the breed again, and replacing the files?

Are you clicking on the 'next breed' button on the egglayer? It took me a while to find it.
If you are, then you should probably replace the files. |

Yep, when I checked I cycled through the breeds a couple of times to make sure I didn't miss them.
I redownloaded and replaced all of the files but no luck.
I'm think I've just realised my mistake though - it says in the bio for the panda norns that they use the Chi Chi genome, and I guess I misread the last part and thought that it meant that you could hatch them without having Chi Chis.
I haven't used DS yet, so I thought by starting that up I could see if maybe they would work in DS instead. I downloaded the offline patch, however it doesn't seem to work and still prompts for a username and password to play?
Sorry for having so much trouble! I've only just started playing in the last month, and haven't been brave enough to tackle downloadable breeds or DS until now
Edit;
I got DS to start working, and the pandas work. Does this mean that I won't be able to use them in C3, or could I somehow put the Chi Chi breed in C3? |

You can make a docked world to have all the C3 stuff in Docking Station.
The Panda Norns should work in C3 and I have no idea why yours aren't, except maybe make sure you put them in the C3 folder and not the DS folder? I once accidentally put C3 mods in the DS folder (some critter cosfiles, to make the fish not smell like fruit). |
