| Creatures 1 carot patch code error | |

After reinstalling C1 I hatched 2 norns and came on here for some downloads. I downloaded the carot fix as well as some other cobs. I got a script error that crashed the game, and when I looked up the object number it was the carots, so I assume I must have done something wrong when installing the patch. Could it have been the "carot variation" that is also on the injector menu that could have crashed it, because I think I installed that as well? Also, following the crash, this message came up:
The instruction at 0x000000000414C76 referenced memory at 0x00000000064AE230. The memory could not be read. Click on OK to terminate the program.
Anyone know what this message means?
Also, on an unrelated note, I had a crash earlier from a norn whose head image became distorted, almost like you could see through it, and it gave a script error for the norn, but I restarted the game, imported and exported him, and he was just fine, so I don't know how to prevent that from happening, but if anyone has an idea just let me know.
I apologize for having to trouble you guys so much on here, I'm gonna have to contribute more in the future to this site since you've all been so helpful, both in the forums and with the downloads. Thanks in advance. |

Jessica's carrot fix has a new sprite file - did you install that in the right spot?

If you install the carrot fix, any carrot addons that don't use that fix will crash the game.
Discover Albia has updated carrot variations that work with the fix. |

That's probably what did it. I think I'll try it again and only use the one Jessica uploaded. |
