Hello, I'm new to the forum, but have played creatures on and off throughout my life.
Right now I have a young male ChiChi who is blind. He paces back and forth in the heat pan, he giggles when I tickle him and occasionally says right, left or intensely hungry for starch. I have tried holding different food in front of him and telling him to eat but he doesn't respond. I placed a halo over him so he doesn't pass away while I figure out how to get him to eat.
I hatched a female ChiChi and raised her to help the young male and when I placed her near him she did try to help feed him, gave him suggestions and tickled him but he won't respond. Might he be deaf too?
I don't know anything about tweaking Norns so I can't help him that way. But does anyone have suggestions on how to get him to eat? I don't mind caring for a blind Norn, he seems happy otherwise. Thanks.

It sounds a lot like he's a Child of the Mind, but C3/DS norns' brains are set not to mutate. Can you please get Gene Compare so we can see what mutations he's got, or post him up as an adoption?

I think a similar case was once studied on a website as far as C3DS is concerned, in terms of effects. Do you have any way of checking if any of this Norn's organs have been multiplied? Supposedly, some of the perception/brain-related organs result in a Norn being unable to perceive their environment in C3DS when they are duplicated. But your best bet is to upload him somewhere for people to check or use a program yourself.
I document some of my playthroughs in a blog-style fashion with comments enabled. I may just change them into a blog, but if you're interested in reading such things beforehand, feel free! |

I've found that sometimes my norns just can't see objects until I move them somewhere with perfectly flat terrain! No idea why.
