At first, sorry for my weak english
Ok after years me and my mother want to play creatures 1&2.... so we decided to buy the Albian years.
Everything works, but ... is there any posibility to get C2 run on 32bit-colour setting?(she uses Win7)
C1 works with 32bit fine... but C2 turns complete white .
I just ask because my mother wants to play in a "wolflingmode" while she is doing her usual doings on the pc. And she said it is anoying to these on 16bit-colour.
I hope you can give me an advice to help her fixing that.
Looking forward for your help

Hi SplitBrain! Good to see you here!
If you right-click on the Creatures 2 icon and go all the way down to "Properties", a window will pop up that gives you a lot of different options, including the bottom-right tab, 'Compatibility'. The compatibility tab should give you the option to use reduced colour settings on just that game. It should look something like this:

Thanks for your fast reply
I wasnt sure if the compatibility-mode helps in that situation. With the Comp-mode it will be possible to run C2 minimised while she is surfing in the internet... or doing something else.... and it switchs back to 16bit when u open creatures?
I guess we will give it a try.
Thanks again

Windows Support just says that the reduced color mode "Uses a limited set of colors in the program." - so it makes that program use 16 bit colours, and the rest use whatever they need??
