No matter how much I try I can't seem to keep the fish alive in the aquatic biome, even without predators. I've also noticed that the eggs don't seem to hatch unless I pick them up one by one and put them in the nursery area or whatever it's called. The fish will lay them and there will be a huge cluster just hanging out at the bottom that never seem to hatch. Is there a specific time or season that they hatch?
Are there any agents that can help me keep the fish alive? |

Which ones are you having problems with?
Fish eggs do sometimes take a while to hatch, but the big bouncy light blue eggs come from the man-o'-war jellyfish... they are bugged and in my experience they never hatch. I'm not sure if there's a fix for it anywhere.
The only time I see fish die out in there is if the rainbow sharklings overeat them. You might try putting the sharklings in the nursery so the other fish won't get eaten, and see if that helps. In my experience, the lack of food doesn't seem to hurt the sharklings any.

Vampess's fixes include some fixes for the fish, like fixing the man o' wars. |

The sharks WILL die out without food. I lose mine all the time because I forget to check on them. I recommend using the Garden Box water plants, for one thing - they are superior to what came with the game and far less likely to die out, which in turn helps keep fish alive. There are also several downloadable user made fish agents which are much less liable to die out on you, especially the ones for Biodome.
Conclude with killer catchphrase.
