Ettin glycogen level zero but not dead?

I first noticed it when I selected said Ettin to name her. In the C12DS tool bar, it said her life force was zero. When I checked her glycogen levels via the chemical grapher, the glycogen levels were a flat line at the bottom. I named her Zombie. I plan to take a look at her genetics.

In C3/DS, life force is a separate chemical from glycogen, ID 125 if I recall right. That's what controls the ageing and ultimately dying of age.

Yes, but life force is techanically a measure of glycogen in the tool bar. Her life force levels are in the middle. I wasn't referring to aging. But, her glycogen levels are zero. That's what I'm talking about. From what I understand, if glycogen is zero, that equals death, since ATP can't be produced. It says she has ATP when I graph her chemicals...Must be generating ATP out of nowhere somehow.

If a creature depletes it's glycogen storage it will start using muscle and adipose tissue to convert into glucose instead. BTW are you using CFFs? They currently have a problem with maintaining food stores.

In C3 it's not quite so serious, partially due to the base c3/ds genetics involving the digestive system, how nutrition is used, and nutritional stores only being partially done and left in a weird kind of half-broken extra simplified state (as opposed to the other games, anyway)...

A creature with very low glycogen is in more danger of starvation than most if they don't eat regularly, and may trigger moaning or 'near-death' music... but they can live quite a while with none, converting other nutrients to make glucose, especially fat, which most C3/DS creatures tend to make and store in abundance.

Most creatures still can live just fine without glycogen though... In that state, they possibly might be a bit more vulnerable to starving than most if they go without food for an extended period, but that's about it.

No, I'm using normal ettins.

That's it then. She's just exhibiting the weird digestive genes the default genomes have, probably.

I think it's more likely that she simply became so obsessed with hoarding gadgets that she forgot to eat. I see it all the time in Ettins (Vanilla, CFE, CFF and TWB.), their boredom drive screws them up and they become confused.

Most likely, but the fact she's not dead from it when her glycogen is 0 is because of the C3/DS weirdness with the digestive systems. I really wish they had gotten to properly finish the C3 genomes... They left so much stuff hanging and half-done in c3/ds that it's hard to even see where they were going with a lot of it.

She doesn't have any glucose either, but her ATP is pretty high. Maybe it's a mutation?

Creatures without the CFE edits can mutate their vital functions to gain energy out of nowhere. If you have gene compare you could check her genetics against the base genome.

I did that. Couldn't find any clear difference that would point to why this was happening.

Can you post her here so we can take a look, just out of curiosity? It may be a very subtle change.
