Hi a new old creatures fan here.lol. A few questions about meta room setups. I have done few wolf runs and few feral runs and now I feel Iam ready for a meta room expansion. I have installed c1 to ds and c2 but there seems to be some overlapping. So I've been over to the norm garden and I had a glance at meta room plan. Iam not sure how up to date it is. As anyone found a good big setup for meta room cobination. Pc power isn't really a problem so it's really down to engine performance. There's no rush iam currently on generation 6 on creatures 1 sadily creatures 2 doesn't work the screen seems to freeze although the game seems to be running its just a visual bug I can't fix. So I am just prepping for my first big wolf run. So any ideas on the meta room setup. Is there anyway to increase the size of the game?any ideas on the visual game bug in creatures 2? Oh and hi. Iam a bit late to the game.  |

Well, it depends on which of the games we're talking about. Metarooms work differently in, say, C3/DS than they do in C1. Also, I'm not entirely sure what you're asking. Can you be a little more specific on what exactly you're trying to do? If you just want to know what some good metarooms are... well, again, it depends on what you're doing. XD I mostly use metarooms in C3/DS - I'm content with the other two worlds when I play them as a rule, although that might change in time with C2. My favorite terrestrial rooms for C3/DS, personally, are Veridia and Norngarden 1. I do a lot of aquatic/amphibious stuff, so most of my recent favorites are aquatic - Hydro Norn Terrarium (floods the Norn Terrarium with freshwater, very cool), Aquanornia, and Deep Abyss get the most play, but Artemia Sea is also very good. With that said my computer is weird about agents and metarooms so a lot of stuff that works fine for other people inexplicably doesn't work for me. There are a LOT of other really good rooms out there. For C1 specifically, the only metaroom/alternate world I ever used was Terra Nornia, but it was really very good and I enjoyed it quite a bit. In fact I kind of wish I could run it again but alas, I don't have it. I'll have to try to find it someday soon when I'm less preoccupied with my Abyss Dragon project. Thanks for the info lutherstaap. I was really looking for recommendations for c3ds. I am on the 10th generation on ccreatures 1. I was going to play the games in order and get a good feel for the mechaniks but creatures 2 doesn't seem to work. It starts I can see the game screen I can hear the music but when I move the mouse the screen blurs and I can't see what's going on. So I was just going to skip straight to the creatures 3 once my current run on creatures 1 has ended. But yea I like the idea of a ocean world I'll have to look out for aquatic Norns. Your abyss project sounds pretty cool. |

There's no need to play the games in sequence - they don't actually follow a timeline. In fact, officially, Creatures 2 takes place way after C3/DS!
