Hey!
I got some problems with the Bengals des Neiges and Ombra Norns. Both breeds are installed correctly, but when I try to insert an egg from the egg layer machine it just disappears when the Ombras or Bengals des Neiges are displayed. Also, I downloaded a pair of Ombra Norns and put them into the "My Creatures" folder, but when I try to import them into the game they're not shown in my list of creatures.
(Sorry for my bad english, I hope you can understand what I mean *3*)
Does anybody else have problems with these two breeds? |

Heya, welcome to the community. ![[nsmile] [nsmile]](/images/smilies/emot_smile.gif)
I'm a user of the Bengals des Neiges and the Ombra norns myself, I like the breeds because it allows me to have three different colors of bengals in my game, I can't say I've ever had any actual problems with them but there may be some common causes.
Can you check your genetics folder and see if the norn.bengal.neige.gen and norn.ombra files exist? It might be due to an error relating to those.
Also, are you using Creatures 3 standalone or Docking station? |

Heya, thank you for welcoming me and thanks for the fast answer, aswell!
I have checked my folder and both files exist. Of course I also tried to delete all the breed files and install them again, but the error still occurs
It's a pity cause I really, really love the look of the bengals and they look even more amazing in black and white. *sighs* |

Hmm interesting. Can you get a copy-paste of the error it causes? To do this, hold ctrl, shift and W (all at the same time) when ingame to bring up the wolfing monitor and then hold ctrl, shift and A to disable autokill, this makes it so the game will give you an error message instead of just making the egg-layer disappear. Then when autokill is off, try to create an ombra/bengals des neiges egg and then you should have the error message.
I also recommend you paste the error message in a code box, simply paste the error message in between (code)error here(/code) with square brackets instead of normal brackets.

Okay, now this is funny
I just did what you told me and disabled autokill - then I got an error message when I created an egg:

I clicked on "Ignore" and the egg layer was still there, I could create the egg and hatch it.....voila, a little bengals des neige girl is born.
:'D Thank you so much! |

Well, glad to help!
I'm sure there are better ways of fixing it though, it looks like a sprite-related error at a distance... |
