Hey guys, whenever I try to install the Genetic Kit for Creatures 3 /Ds it gives me the error 105 which says:
"Setup is unable to find installation languages in C Users\ZURINS~1\Appdata\Local\Temp\WZSE5\SETUP.LID.file Error 105"
I have no clue how to repair this problem, running as admin and running in compatibility mode didn't help either >_<
I would really appreciate your help.
( My Laptop is a Windows 10 pc with 64 bit, if you need more data just tell me ^-^)

Did you install C3 and/or DS to the default locations? It seems like the Genetics Kit installer is looking for files in the wrong place. That's all I can think of. |

I installed Creatures Exodus in the documents folder, I heard it is the best to avoid conflicts. ^.^

Not necessarily. In my experience it was best to use the default pathway. I tried reinstalling to Documents and it did nothing to help any of my existing problems and exacerbated a few. That IS true for some machines, but I just wanted to let you know that it isn't ALWAYS true. You might want to try reinstalling to the default pathway.
Alternatively, before doing that, have you installed the Remaster Patch yet? That fixed my problems with the Genetics Kits (most of them anyway *eyes C1 genetics kit... sigh*)

I tried a lot last night and came to the conclusion that I would have to set up a virtual pc for such an old program. However I found an easier way and will just create on the Windows 7 pc which is standing around the gene files and import them to creatures, because on that one it works.
(Windows 10 on my laptop doesn't like old games and programs )
