I'd really like to have a lot of creatures, but when they talk a lot, it seems to slow down the world even if the voices are off. I could just not teach them to talk, or teach all words except "maybe," "like," "love," and "hate," but I'd like to know if there's a way to keep that from happening without resorting to that.

Are you using CFFs?
Those are much less likely to get into the infinite loops of feelings and suggestions.
Also they spread out so there's less talking going on. |

Some are CFFs, others aren't.
Edit: Does it have something to do with the speech bubble fix?

Are the non-CFFs doing most of the talking?
Also do you have any particularly large agents in the agent list, like C2toDS? |

I've got C12DS.

Okay that shouldn't slow down worlds much (having C2toDS in your My Agents folder slows down the game for some reason). |
