Hello everyone, apologies ahead of time if an answer to this issue lies somewhere already. I did not see it.
I've had some issues with the Genetics Kit in the past, but now I cannot click in the gene editor. I can load a genome and browse every tab, but as soon as I go to edit say... an appearance gene, the editor crashes completely and I am forced to close it.
I tried running it under several compatibility options too, for windows XP and more.
Is this a Windows 10 issue or can it be fixed by some other means? Thank you!

Still having this issue. :/
It seems my game is extremely screwed up too. I am going to go in and delete everything and reinstall to see if anything gets better. I will not add any metarooms and only mall breeds and CFF/CFE norns. Very few agents too, only some necessary ones for my sanity. (Mini-Copier, I love you so)
Some problems:
*I cannot create undocked worlds. Gives invalid map location errors among others. When I finally get in, it places me in what looks like the title screen unable to do anything. Importing a norn causes an error and breaks the world further.
*I cannot delete certain worlds... gives errors and closes.
*Agents randomly give all sorts of errors. (never happened with several of them on a previous computer)
*Body data (I think) of several breeds is completely messed up. Harleyquin and Bondi experiencing the most, with female Harleyquins having screwed up bodies in general, floating arms, heads, etc... while the bondi norns so far seem to only have a floating head issue.
*Mass amounts of norns die at the same time. They all drop dead with seemingly no reason
*Eggs have an awkward red or blue tint to them and will not hatch by themselves. I made a contraption with the egg finder and egg hatcher that hatches all my eggs since they do not hatch by themselves.
*No grendels seem to hatch from the Grendel Mother. Only about a billion Gargoyle Norns. Learned that the hard way after coming back to find all Gen 3+ norns were part Gargoyle. Yeah I know this one is an issue with the naming starting with letter G in the genomes folder but still figured I would add it xP
Well here I go! I will be saving all my high Gen creatures, so if you want any gen 20-30+ norns let me know!

@Isis the red/blue tint is something to do with Eggornator I think.
Red is females blue is males.
It might be some other thing though, but it's something that determines egg sex and shows you it via tint. |

Ahhh that would make sense! I recently got the Eggernator v2, I always used the older version and it never did that! Still does not make sense to me why eggs will not hatch by themselves though.

Yes, I can confirm that. The red and blue not-hatching eggs seem to be related to the Eggernator. This problem only occurs with version 2.0, though. Using Eggernator 1 is perfectly fine, as it does not have this "feature".

I guess I need to relocate the other version! As cool as v2 is... its kind of a hindrance.
