Greetings, I recently returned to Creatures 3 after buying it off GoG as the dvd wasn't working anymore. But I noticed that the Hider for door and lifts (hm_hiders2) made by Hausmouse1, are not recognizing doors anymore. It will recognize buttons, but that is it. I manage to copy paste and old world in the new install (save from before GoG version) and there the hiders works fine, however if I inject a new hider into the world (both old and new) the new hider won't recognize doors anymore. Any thoughts? I really love that agent as I am able to split up my creatures to different rooms, but now I can't make a new world as they won't work. Help  |

It is on version 2.296, at the moment, will it be safe to use the patch as its 1.2v, or is that just the version of the patch? |

Have you tried uninstalling the game, doing a fresh install and then applying the patch before you add any third-party addons? |

Just installed the game today, but the agent was in the game before the patch. |

Try doing things in this precise order: - Make a backup of your worlds and exported creatures and so on. Anything you want to keep. - Uninstall the game. - After the game is gone, go through the former install folders and through the My Documents folder. Make sure everything is removed. If anything is left, delete it by hand and empty your trashbin. - THEN reinstall the game. - Install the patch. - Do not restore your world and creature backups just yet. Instead make a new world. Test the hiders. - When they work, slowly add in everything else. When it doesn't..... I don't know, we'll come to that when it is so far. Try to do the whole adding thing slowly, so we might be able to pinpoint what causes the trouble when the hiders break. Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... |

Oh you know, maybe I didn't read the name on the injector as it said "Button/lift hider" and surely did not see the OTHER one named "Door hider" Works now after I found the CORRECT one -.- I apologize for the time I made you waste on this issue. I'll go get some glasses now lol. |
